FAQ
What is an NFT?
90% of the time, it is an image on the internet. In reality, an NFT (non-fungible token) can be anything digital (art, music, your brain uploaded to the matrix) and represents a unique asset that cannot be copied. They certify authenticity and ownership, can be easily traded and are sometimes sold for $68m.
How does it work?
You will need a crypto wallet (you can sign up with email and we'll create one for you or use Metamask). Then you just need to create your image by adding a text description and click mint. Simple!
What if I'm on mobile?
If you are on mobile you will need to use an email wallet or MetaMask app browser to be able to mint on our website.
What is 'minting'?
It's a fancy word for taking an image and turning it into an NFT, on the blockchain, that's all.
How much does it cost?
$5. The additional gas fees are a transaction cost based on how busy the network is and are usually around $5, but can be higher.
I need help deciding what to write!
Use our 'inspire me' button! Or create your own prompt. You can ask for anything, in any art style. Here are some inspiring examples: 'sand sculpture', 'iphone made of terracotta from Harappa, Indus Valley Civilization, Pakistan; 2600-1900 BC, studio light', 'A film still from ___ movie', 'a lion jumping on a trampoline in the style of Van Gogh' - seriously, go mental.
How often can I create an image?
If you're not going to mint the image, you can create an image every 24 hours. If you do mint the image, you can create infinite images.
I have minted! Now what?
Congratulations! You now own an NFT and have full commercial and IP rights (let us know if you create any cools items with your NFT on it!)
You can also sell your NFT on marketplaces such as OpenSea! If you used an email wallet then the process is about as fun as pulling teeth (you need to export your private key to a MetaMask wallet...) OR you can give us a bit of time and we'll make it really easy for you!
In the meantime you can check out your NFT at My NFTs or see you NFT with the rest of the community's at Minted NFTs or our OpenSea Collection
